Two seperate People, individual are we
born all alone and will pass just the same
but I would go first, to be your guide
your way not to loose, my direction must go.

As we reach for the sky, beyond points of return
life's runway grows short, the further we go
for I will be there, to show you the way
from departure point, on our charted course.

On achieving life's goal, a stranger must pay
the toll that will open life's final door
but enter, go first, to pave your way
through the tunnel of shade, we must all journey through.

Then when we are told once more to return
to the place they call life, down below
then we shall go back, to realms of the mortal
together, once again, as before.

This way have we passed more than once before
and surely will pass more than once again
for I will walk through, Heaven's gate with you
for my love, for my love, transcends the grave.**
