This time of the year
its a different waiting.

When will tulips bloom,
and daffodils too
and the grasses will be green?
So that when you come,
your bare feet
will walk beside mine,
while we feel the cool blades
tickle our feet
we'll be lost for words
and lie down,
waiting for the spring breeze
wrapped in each others arms.

A different waiting indeed.
