Satan in serpent's guise
Oh the fruit was cute and nice
If only, oh if only
If only I knew your words were as split as your tongue
I certainly wouldn't have chosen wrong
If only I knew I stood were you envy
I would've shushed you plainly
If only, oh if only
But the fruit was cute and nice
And I was so naive, I fell for my eyes
From the forbidden beauty I had my bite
The bite was beautiful, the fall was mine
Mine mine mine and only mine
Now standing a beauty lost in the mist of fleshly follies
Hard as u struggle to break free
The entanglement still holds me
Beauty reduced to ashes
Now only seen in the distant flashing
I am pulling my baggage of sin
