I jump,
I light.
I gleam,
I bloom.

My palms are sweating,
My eyes are shining.
My heart is racing,
My feet are tapping.

I have one chance to show the world what I am capable of.
I have one chance to show the world months of my hard work.
I have one chance to shine in the light of my soul.
I have one chance to prove myself to the world.

I stand behind the curtain,
Listening to the crowd chanting my name.
I tell myself that there is nothing I have ever wanted more than this,
That I have everything at stake to bring me fame.

I pray I don't fail,
I pray I don't fall.
I promised myself that I would do this to prove myself worthy.
I promised myself that I would come out to the top.

The stage is bare,
The lights are sharp.
The curtains expose me,
The music begins to play.

My palm are sweating,
My eyes are shining.
My heart is racing,
My feet are tapping.

I jump,
I light.
I gleam,
I bloom.
Let the dhol drive your soul.
