I wrote this on pages
thinking of stages
Paragraphs and lines
This too some time

I'm a feminist for her
the girl with acid
thrown in her face
Wrong time wrong place
"she didn't act with grace"

I'm a feminist for her
The lady who is alone
Thrown out of her home
"we're ashamed you should be married"
She couldn't think about killing
the child she carried

I'm a feminist for her
The girl who shall not drive
She wants to strive
Be a doctor, a nurse
But he wont allow her a purse
"you're job is children, work is
no place for women"

Feminism isn't hating men
It's equality for all of them
Who ever makes you think this way
that we hate them, wont let them stay
is wrong and corrupt

I'm tired of people telling me to decline
feminism as its a cruel state of mind
Hopefully this will enlighten your outlook
then again, opinion is nothing you can learn from a book.
