Ghost in the window
I am a ghost
searching the world
for another host
In each town there is tragedy
A widow in black
A baby in a sack
Each worse than the last
Every entrance is blocked
and I'm cast out
Just as I give up
I see her
shelter
the girl in the window
always looking out
The smoke begins to swirl
and I realize I'm that girl
the ghost in the window
