Humans were never meant
to live forever.

Even if Moses lived
To be one hundred and twenty
Eternity will be spent
Somewhere better and more peaceful
Than this place we call home
But until that day
Each of us must realize
That our days are numbered.
So we must live now
Because we are dying
It may be slow
But it is still happening
We can't control it
No scientific progress or research
No hand of a miracle
No magic potion
Absolutely nothing can save us from oblivion
So if you love someone
Tell them
If you hate someone
Tell them
If you have a secret life
Let it thrive
Be the greatest person
You could possibly be
Love as if it were your last day
Breathe as if it were your last breath
Smile as if nothing has scarred you
Touch as if tomorrow you cannot feel
Speak as if your mind is pouring out
its every thought through your tongue into the air
Think as if you are a psych major
And die
As if you know
That everything will be alright.
