What if, when a woman
Turns twenty, she is
frozen in time by her
200-year-old love?

She wants him
By her side, together
But as age takes over
It tears them apart
Turning the insides of
her head mental,
and his mind turned
Insane.

Too much difference
Yet looks match,
no grey hairs,
Similar smiles

They remain, Stuck
in their own world,
Friends passing them,
Only their hands touch,

They think it's perfect,
Yet even a fool can see,
they were doomed, From
the start, their forever
a clouded misconception

Love bonds them together,
Age is forgotten in their life,
Would not trade their situation
for anothers, they would never go
back, back to the simple days.
Happy to be floating,
no real home, no real age,
but more content than any pair
Ready for forever
