Emerald Rose

Raven locks and emerald pools, sitting in marble carved smooth Complexities of mind rival all those of natural design And societal beliefs that rise above the norm She is the siren that sings through my storm She sings of scars, anger, and unshedded tears Themes of both of our stories written so far Emerald to gold, we exchange our pains We grow together as the storm still rains Troubled like I, scared to trust again Been scarred before, gashed deep by another Reaching out to heal those unseen wounds Reaching in hopes of seeing her love bloom Bloom like the emerald rose she is Unimaginable in beauty or form Unearthly in grace or design Unnatural one of a kind
