Waking up to a floor flying towards my face
To sweat clinging to my cheeks
Tears leaving a thick trace
Fear burning as quick as leaves

My heart pounded in my chest
My fingers ached in writhing pain
My thoughts seemed to become a test
And I feared what I saw could happen again

The darkness was blank
And it helped me relax
As though I slept in a cave
Like death with some hacks
