The Heart
If I could die from a heartbreak,
I'd have died countless times,
For I did not know how my heart survived.
If only stitches and bandages could make it better,
It wouldn't still be bleeding and tearing years after,
Hidden in a body so no one can discover.
The heart still yearns for the one it aches,
It'll love the one and only for as long as it takes.
