We live in a masquerade
And all of us don’t really notice
That we wear masks everyday, just to see who’s more happier than who
Or that we wear them just to have a boundary on expressing our true self because we’re probably too scared to be judged

You throw and remove your mask when you’re alone
And that’s where a flood of thoughts come into you
And you just stare and be silent

Masks have deceived people,
Sadness disguises as happiness
Love is covered with a huge mask of lust,
Success, devoured by a mask of riches and gold.
And

People, masked as persons who they want to be
Logged in to my old blog, saw this and thought of posting it here. Forgot that I wrote this a year ago.
