I stare at this page
Each line is a cage
Restricting my thoughts
Caught and can't change.
To many, it seems weird
To few, it appears
Normal, though we fear
Those that hear
Powerful poetry
Can only visualize
Through unopen eyes
How wise and important
These words I'm reporting.
Love these letters
With passion and pain
And help me escape
These caged lines.
