YOUR SILENCE
FILLS IN THE
BREAKS BETWEEN
THE LIES THAT
COIL AT MY FEET.

HOW CAN I LIVE WITH MYSELF
HOW CAN I BE ALONE AGAIN
WITHOUT NEEDING
YOUR HANDS,
FIXED UPON MY NECK,
REASSURING ME OF WHAT
I CANNOT PUT TO SLEEP.
