Inside,
I'm naked
And warm,
Where our hearts
Beat
Despite the storm
Of whirling air
And pulsing blood,
Digestive growls
And umbilic crud.
I snuggle in
Fetal bliss,
Where I await
My first kiss
And first cuddle;
Safe
From elemental muddle
Of outside harms.
I see a light,
I'm being torn,
No going back,
I'm reborn.
