What happen to the good old days

when a promise was a promise
when your word was  bond
when truth was the truth
when honesty really existed
when a I love you meant I love you

In today's society it has changed somewhat

where promises are broken
where someone's word means absolutely nothing
where the truth is a lie
where honesty is only used to get something

and the I love you only means
that you will get ******

from the old to the new
no more angels out there
just ******* artist, manipulators, takers and thieves
