Seeing the scares you left behind
Turn to flesh
Into a reality that I can’t live with
A nightmare that is like a panting
One that can see no destruction

I use flames to see it burn
But burn myself instead
A feeling of hate consumes me
A prayer to see the light in my soul
Put out

Looking to the sky
Where is the almighty
Why is that all I see be nothing
Why is there a feeling of utter hate?
Desperation to find my place

Is it too late to see what is lost?
Is the door closing on my hope?
I pray for the light to go out
For my suffering to end
