Tears are falling in the street, from so many young and old dying
People  going to bed hungry in this rich nation, because they don't
Have enough to eat, kids in the ghetto here or across the seas need
Shoes on their feet, I wonder if young girls on the street, will make
It home safely in short and tight dress, plunging neckline  showing
Your uncovered *******, kids are sitting high in school, not even
Learning, but for some money they didn't even earn, for that they seem
To be yearning, if they keep on going the wrong way, their lives will be
A tangled mess, broken down morals from babies out of wedlock,
Previous time just thrown away, when you lay your head down tonight
Will you wake up to the sunrise of another day
