There once was a girl
that dreamed of a world
without such affliction
there was no addiction
A place safe to play
on a nice sunny day
No need to run in fear
no one was a stranger here

She had this world in her hand
gently she would hold it
But, one day she grew up
and reality broke it

Now she sees the scary faces
and smell the darkness of lonely places
She hold her little ones so dear
clinching them to her chest in fear

She watches with an eagle's eye
all the strangers passing by
As her little ones sit and play
unaware of the darkness that surges
through their world of innocent games...

There once was a girl who loved the world
now she is a woman....and things have changed
She has no faith in the stranger passing by
She knows there might be a wolf lurking inside.
