Do you wade in my rivers,
turning about the flow
in tune with the melodic
apprehension of me surrounding you?

Is the current strong enough,
pulling you closer to the end,
my whole in return for your embrace
when you are sedated in awe?

Can you keep afloat in this,
the lust of moment when
my thoughts consume you
more than the waters eluding you?

For when you realize the drought,
you may have already drowned.
