You look so handsome today
with your naturally touseled hair,
three piece suit and navy blue tie

You walk by me, briefcase in one hand
and cellphone in the other,
and say, "bye hunny",
in a rush as usual

You are almost out the door
but I stop you

You glance at your watch
then down at me
and suddenly your eyes
turn a warm grey color
You know ...

You lean down to kiss me.
I wrap my arms around your waist
and hold you close to my heart

You look deep into my eyes,
drop your briefcase
and take me back to bed
