On wave and shore
Beauty... and more
This one I cannot have

We might sing
But for my ring
I long to see her laugh

By day she spurns
at night she burns
and opens up her heart

And on White Sand
She takes my hand
And splits my world apart

So many years
No thoughts or fears
Of losing what I'd had

And then this one
I come undone
Dumbstruck, anxious, sad

I'll have to leave
I'll have to grieve
And reunion be my salve

On wave and shore
Beauty... and more
This one I cannot have
