If I could only step into the flowing waters of your eyes,
follow the rivers and make it past the rocks
which threaten to cut the skin of my thoughts
over and over then maybe
I might find an ocean in which you lie or float
on the surface.
I hope I can find you somewhere
in the endless abyss of your mind.
I hope you have not drowned.
