I do have a passion to write
Even though I'm not always so bright

I write from the heart
That's where I start

I may be no good
You may say I'm no poet
That's ok, I already know it

I found something I love
and I don't want to stop
Writing is my lover
I write till I'm shot

And then I'll pick up the pen
And start writing all over again

So if my writing bores you
I will not apologize
This is saving my life
