I’m safe
Far away from the wolf and its fangs,
Yet still my heart stays by,
Inching closer day by day towards the gnawing teeth
That lie in that womans mouth.
She is blood,
But I have shed that commonality because of her,
And will not shed it again.
Heart, come back,
She is not who you perceive her to be.
What she was died along with him,
What she is now, is darkness,
And that is what she always shall remain.
Memories can fool you,
But the reality can only cause you harm
