Only one thing to learn
While the world spins and ends
Things begin
Things fight to live
Things finish
A place where sapphire sacrafices touch voids unseen but still there
Money rules the world with harsh strikes of its greedy stick
I am nothing here but soon will but nothing everywhere
Plea to no ear, walker of the streets at dusk
Dust settles, never to stir again
Breakfast served, eaten, **** out a tiny hole
Flushed toward a river that is polluted in equal measure
A world spinning, a world moving, a world dying and losing
"What have they done to our fair sister?" he questioned, he questioned, he questioned
The form has moved away from the cities, into the streets
Fire burns louder, brighter tougher and longer
A breath is no longer natural, it is mechanical
And love...
Love is still the same old *****
Drunk at the back of the bar
