The nights are the hardest part,
when my thoughts run wild into the dark
it was weeks and weeks of feeling numb
raindrops fall from my skin, longing for the sun.

It rained all day, I was searching for a reason to stay
And I wish I could remember how it felt before
I don't wanna play this game anymore.

Let the world move on,
while I sing a bitter and broken song.
I was frozen, too scared to run,
so I slowly let the water fill my lungs.

Can you hear the rain falling
Is it my name you're calling?
I wish I could remember how it felt before
I don't wanna play this game anymore.

I'm through playing games
I don't like this game

When will it be over? When will I stop growing older?
I'm too scared to risk it,
not brave enough to admit it
I never wanted it to be like this.
Our youthful hearts, our youthful minds,
just a shadow that's been left behind.

The sun broke through the rain clouds
But I'm too busy staring at the ground,
I wish I could remember how it felt before
I don't wanna play this game anymore.
