Flower petals fall
From a wilting bloom
The rain has long been gone
It hasn't brought it's yearned for gloom.

The blossom looks down
To the earth it sprouted from
It's back bending over
The rain, it wants it to come.

Though it's death is near
A new plant will arise
From the seeds it drops
And the rain falling from high.

When the next blossom blooms
It will smile up at the sky
But until it can be born
Another has to die.
