I wake up in a fog, head spinning from the pasts prologue
Wondering how I fell so far, so long, accounts overdrawn
Hair a mess, thoughts pacing in each step, another moment,
another breath

I wonder if love is real or if its just a figment of the pain I feel
the window creaks open and the light is here but you're not
The dark I fear

We stand, the broken, each day to mend the damage thats been done
Ive been told, one day, Ill feel the warmth of the sun and remember fondly the battles, lost and won

Today, I will not slumber in the present for the moment is beckoning for my presence, as a curb beckons for its peasants, an engine keeps humming towards whats destined

Another day, another way, another fades, but in any other way, I miss you
