When Love was real
And Lust didn't exist.
When you'd communicate by love letters,
And not cell phones.
When a kiss on the hand meant so much.
When boys and girls didn't, "Hook up."
They just loved each other.
When parents didn't have to hate your boyfriend,
Because he wouldn't be an *******; He was a real gentleman.
He'd treat the girl right.
And then boy would ask the Father for permission to take the girl's hand in marriage.
It'd be wrong to steal a kiss or two but they might anyways
