Mar 2011
Stuttered to finish
She was pale as the ice
Struggling to speak
And find words
Only had minutes
Before the hang

Violet skies
Sunset highs
Midnight fights
All that arise

Time worth
Suddenly thrown away
Believe it's a flurry
With the notifications
And breathless takes
Of electric shock

Violet skies
Sunset surprise
Midnight reprise
Why not compromise?

Well, let's not.
Because we can't.
And so we won't.

Just

Don't.

Violet disquise
Sunset replies
Midnight defies.
This I despise.

Don't slip away.
Not now,
Not then,
Not ever.
