Jan 2015
moonlight dances softly between branches
marking its territory on the cold
lonely leaves
crunching beneath the soles of my feet
temporarily drowning out the sounds
of the night
placing my hand over the damp bark
breathing in its earthy scent
an innocent bat falls
from his beloved tent
cradled in my ***** palms
fur as soft as a rabbits undercoat
wings fragile
thin
together we embrace our faults
