Without The Sun
The darker it gets
The more stars you see
But without the sun
Life wouldn't be
Without the sun
Everything dies
Hope, joy and laughter
Replaced by my cries
Eternal night
Is filled with despair
I long for the sun
But it just isn't there
It's too dark to see
As I hang my head
Without the sun's light
I soon will be dead
But without the sun
I just don't care
Why live a life
That's full of despair?
I close my eyes
To wait for the end
And remember the sun
My long-lost, dear friend
