Dec 2014
I walk in darkness
But not alone.
I find myself
Bumping into pain
Stabbed with confusion
Crying in the darkness
With only the sound of my own sorrow
To break the silence.

Fear shrouds in like a mist
Until terror takes over.
And, through my tears
I look at the enclosing shadows;
And, strange as it may seem,
I find hope
Knowing they are cast
By the light.
