i. my love for him sometimes was like a whispered secret in the dead of the night: quiet and careful. other times it was a violent thrash of the tongue, hands clinging on to the highest tree branch, afraid to fall. (afraid to say goodbye.) ii. in hindsight i am sorry for trying to save myself from getting hurt by you. i only shattered my heart in the process. iii. (goodbye, ghost, i'm sorry that i loved you so.) (goodbye ghost, i'm sorry that i let you go.)

summer's breeze and autumn's leaves

another one of those days when i don't know *** i'm doing.
