Salvation

by ih8posers

You opened my eyes to a world that is unknown Where the hate is not easy to let go They linger in my skin and bones How deep is this love only you can show You cleanse my dirty hands That i wanted to touch everyone's soul Real love, i search for eternal love I'd give it all up to a pure heart like yours Life is tough, no one gets along Everything contradicts each other They're in every corner waiting to strike Ready to control our minds I got swallowed by the grudges that i kept inside Darkness took over that it matches my soul I screamed my lungs out On the brink of stepping of the ledge to fall But i kept holding on to your words You pulled me up with both hands I kneel down in submission Tears started to fall And i look up at the sky to long for something more Cause all my life, what's missing was you
