Dishes

You have plated it all, day after day The cold, the hot, the flavourless You let it be served, as if curated art Have I thanked you enough, maybe not I take this moment to do so I may have treated you well, and still left you unfinished waiting for tomorrow’s clean You never complained Kept your promise, day in and day out you served Now it’s my time to promise and keep you sparkling clean Just the way you curate an art each time with your pearl-finished surfaces and shiny blue rims
