A Comedy

Those words, sent by a tall forest of briars, from eyes dull and empty, carve out a caricature of my heart. How easy it is to laugh at the pain, now humorous and seemingly benign. My sides split open and my once pure red heart crashes broken to the ground, scattering future promises and dreams. Yes, how laughable my pain is.
