Soak

I soak you in as your eyes study me Taking care to memorize each curve Will you remember my face in 10 years? With that look in your eyes, I could never doubt This is forever, As I soak you in. Desperate to cling to a moment Frightened that the world will barge its way into my fantasies Here we are Sweet and innocent The sky is a million miles wide, and it's all ours There we make the connection As I soak you in. Where will the years take us my darling? It could be anywhere, as long as I am with you. Freckles spattered across your face, marking of sun kisses I adore every single one Eyes like lightening I will never forget, So I soak you in.
