Maybe

Maybe, You don’t know. That I cared, Or that I would’ve done Anything. To show you, That I loved you, I wouldn’t leave. I thought, Staying with you, And trying As hard as I did. Would’ve proved that to you. That I loved you, And I would stay. Maybe, You never cared, Or maybe you met her. And Maybe She’s just better. I don’t know Why. I wish, I wish I did. I thought, Fighting for us, And defying everyone, And everything, That tried to keep us Apart Showed you how much, I cared. Maybe, I thought, I was enough.
