Green Light

by ih8posers

I'm staring at the dark sky full of stars Little glints shining through the night I asked God for a sign The wind whispers to my surprise Life's wrong decisions finally brought us to the right You are all of the above Despite of all of these stars shining, I'd still stare at you If i could just be the one to hold you Your so close, yet so far away All i could do is gaze from where i stand Like how Gatsby longed for the green light You are the unattainable dream If only it's that easy to achieve To hold you and present myself to you You are my guiding light to my dark grey life
