I Don't Know What She Sees In Me

I find myself a bit off course

Often going from bad to worse

Less a blessing, more a curse

I don't know what she sees in me

The answers lie in questions why

Read like a childish lullaby

Far more wrongs than ever rights

I don't know what she sees in me

More than a few steps over the hill

What I once had, I've lost the will

And yet she stands beside me still

I don't know what she sees in me

One too many times I've missed the boat

On most of what I do not know

Still do my best to hold out hope

I don't know what she sees in me

There is a point to all of this

Though I often wonder what it is

And through it all I must insist

I don't know what she sees in me
