CA Guilfoyle
It was shallow water, rippling
a watery moon quivering
on the surface seen
It was night fire
burning water into steam
gray smoke screened
It was willful drowning
upon a lily bed of lies
parched a wilted garden
slowly withers, dies
To all who stop by here to read this poem and to those who have left comments, I thank you for your every kindness.

Well they arrived by night the street cars light came through the curtain
So sharp
Their bags were packed tight trapped to backs to leave now or asap
They went
The car was lamborghini leather bound
Driver look round to greet them, Lets go
Gliding up a vain took a left at Circle Main
Drive through red lights heading North to Lungsville
The black and white chess pieces blocked the roads and signalled to Motor bound brothers to stamp on the light heading North
"The Bridge is wide open"
They went Hail Mary hoisted sails they flew like new born's
Over the water
Fulfilling their prescribed Destiny
i am edgeless
round and free to twirl
baby spring when it freezes in the heart of winter
a speck of dust abandoned by its mother
i have taken every kind of beating there is
been broken to the core beyond measure
promised nothing but eternal darkness and endless void
but i face it all gladly
biting lip and wielding ancient courage
honoring a pinky promise written in fire
whispered in stone
i will crawl on broken knees,
tear apart failing flesh
until my dying breath
until the end of time
for my children
for their unwritten potential
see i,
always wanted to be a spaceship
ever since i was child
see one day,
they will truly find their way
one day,
riding fire and wings of enlightened love
they will leave their humble beginnings behind
and if i'm lucky,
return with tales of countless wonders
wonders they have seen on my distant siblings
wonders that will light up their souls
go now my children,
i release you from your darkness.

Arlo Disarray
I look so sweet
like a tasty treat
But I'm a bitter **** who drags her feet
As she crosses a busy street
Ignoring the horns as they honk and they beep
Wishing a car would put her to sleep

Don't judge a book by its cover
Did you hear me or did I ******* s-s-s-s-stutter?

I may look like I'd taste good on your tongue
But give me a taste and you're gonna get stung

I'm a swarm of bees in a cupcake
A cleverly disguised mistake

And this rose has more thorns than petals
My hate grows as my beauty settles

And you're left bleeding, as my memory sticks in your skin
