Missing Dreams!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
Morning came.
Thoughts she caressed tender.
Touched his mind with passion raw.
Kissed his ear.
His heart is near.
Given breath.
His mind is clear.
Of love he is not afraid.
Love and life a true match made.
Perhaps lady sweet.
She still waits to meet him.
In a dream.
She may find.
Her ideal man lives in her mind.

Vile!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
Vile!

When on this foul and filthy Monday.
The sun begun to cry.
First time past the hurricane.
The sky flared navy blue.
In daylight robbery.
Sun was scared away.

Grim reaper stole the summer.
Left just a world in murky dirge.
Madam sun will someday soon.
Knock reaper out.
Beat into submission.
Bring back summer's sun!

The nth Hour!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
It is 11th hour of the eleventh month.
And where the hell are we now.
Am not in Capitol myself.
Indoors.

In thoughts once true.
We started hot then off did trot.
Upon the demon's cloven hooves.
Spurned by the devil's inference.
Interference well ablaze.
Lest not forget the magic moments.
At this poignant time!

Decorating!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
This painted lady is no butterfly.
Hair grey as driven snow.
Not naturally.
Not cold.
Fingers cyanotic.
Came not from the chill.
But outta plastic ***.

Wooden floorboards dashed.
As footprints gently crept.
Handbag full of fingerprints.
My couch has funny spots.
Decorating my walls.
My entire world's gone blue and grey.
Carpets cover paint spots.
Bring on wonderful Wednesday.

Music of Emotion!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
The marching bands of military men.
In ceremony well,
They truly make me cry.
Lift up mine excitement.
As the trumpets they do cry.
Drums beat their lives out.
Causes awesome fear on battlefield.
In ceremonial adrenaline.
'Tis adrenaline that makes heart cry!

Children round the yule tree.
Make my eyes drown.
Hark the voices of angels.
Fed up with excitement.

Love songs sung.
So lyrical and blue.
The blues they so cry mournfully.
Music of memories.
Those songs,
You know the ones I mean.
Significant songs.
Designed to make you cry.
Cry me a river.
One In which I can not drown.

Friendship!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
In a doctrine of compassion.
My great heart was ended.
Golden soul on a flaxen hair.
My soul.
Myself defended!

Friends of such importance.
Should not go on defence.
Anger bit like demon seed.
She now sits on the fence.
And hand of truth extended.

Contact needs resumption.
Well said from you my friend.
Without such rash presumption.
Presumption was destructive.
Caused a drowning pool.

The fiery tongues did lash.
Between us two..hell on earth a mighty clash.
Two pens determined to ****.
No malice aforethought.
Never ever will!
I forgive thee as thee forgave me.

Thank you for your poem.
My friend.
Always to be!
Dear friend!

Finale! (DARK POETRY)
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
Cold.
Tap tap.
Heavy tap.
Held still.
Stiff.

Airless.
Breathless.
Eyes locked shut.
Lips once kissable.
Remarkable.
Memories locked in pungent box.

Showered.
Not in wedding's.
Nor in infants in progression.
Embryonic session passed.
Life gone.
Had a blast.

Ashes to ashes.
Dust to dust.
Once was body beautiful.
Very shortly ****** dust.

Frozen !
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
Cutting it.
Break a heart in two.
Tangled string of tragedy in a world untrue.
Let the rain slash in ice diamond daggers.
Cursed the face of time.

Sons of Adam vanish.
Out love's true mind.
Daughter's of Eve.
Danced tarnished by once destructive moonshine.
Laughing, crying.
Introverted.

Imagine not why the cards predicted,
Stars predicted.
Time immortal.
Bridging time.
Rhythmic beat swings.
The blades lash.
Slice cool air.

Icy slivers.
Silver glint catches the eye.
Green eye of the storm.
Insular.
Caught in emotion's drizzles.
Connections severed.
In violent tears.
Ragged remnants of many years.

Crossed Wires!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
In an endless field of good intent.
Filled with tragic muddied puddles.
Ram was lost.
Love was found.
Mislaid in poetry.
Wires crossed.

Love,
Truth,
Trust
Respect.
The sworn mantra.
Carried sword of deep regret.

Crucifixion not intended.
Honesty a greater fix.
Spoken words relieved.
Revealed in written peace.

Had the words been spoken.
Way back down the path.
Nothing cruel would happen.
Could still of had our laugh.

Private words betwixt the two.
Could have been much clearer.
Would not have come to cruelty.
Never out to cause pain.
Wash it out with springtime's rain.

Good Morning!

Good Morning!

The angel of the morning rises.
Stroking against warm soft flesh.
A ripple of a quiver.
Standing tall.
A touch of tender power.
Taste the dream.
A shiver of naked emotion as one and one make two.
Warmth inside.
The bodies hot.
Entering a dream.
Volcanoes of a million lands,
All explode as one.
Breathe relax.
Ride the warming glow.
Whisper I love you.
Hold, touch drift to sleep and rise again.

Insult not a memory.
So blessed with kindness.
Touched with honey.
Stoked with decency.
Painted from soft brush.
Gentle sable.
Lower the sabre.
The powerful sword.
With hilt of guilt.
Let it be.
Not aggressive being.

Distressed.
Depressed.
Acrid tears.
Acid tongue.
Lemon lips.
Evil sharp,
So bitter.
Discarded amid leaf litter.
The autumn leaves they fell.
Deep within the mist.
Memories withheld.
Can’t you tell?

Innocent Witches : Part One
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
The witch finder general he came to seek them out.
His mistake when innocent witches.
The innocent ones his soul did take.
Dunked Nanna in the ducking pool.
Dragged aunt to Manning Tree.

Wanted to started a mega pyre for the likes of thee and me.
In archaic land of treachery in the land of treason.
Sweet virgins crucified with no justified reason.
Mother turned the milk sour.
Daddy was a warlock.
Brother was magic man.
Kept his grimoire by his bed.
Family of innocence.
Witches innocent,
Spitting fire now deceased after the flames.
Wanted the witch finder's mortal remains.

Enemies, Hell Why?
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
I care not about being enemies,
for I did nothing wrong
I wanted not war.
Hell I repeat ,
I did nothing wrong.
Friendship fell because you loved.
Allowed your heart to be caught again!
And you know you did!

Friendship is important in all life good and true.
She was the woman of great intentions.
In flower beds she wrote her name.
She was wizened, but wiser.
Wiser with each passing day.

So if enemies we have to be so.
Then so let it be it my fu**ed up friend.
I did not **** you.
Despite the fact you asked me too.
Not part of my agenda.

Goodbye.
God bless may you find peace.
In writes in mind and pen.
And angel words.

You were my beautiful friend. I have no more tears to shed...you drained them! Goodbye sweet one!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
Fear came and chased the soul.
Down empty road so lonesome.
Where one and one made only one.
Girl with smile of pussycat.
Claws torn out.
For real.

Gutted as a house on fire.
When fireworks collide.
Throw me not sweet tear drops
For love once strong and proud.
Decried for all your minions.
Very long and very loud!
Without a tongue.
So no-one heard.

DYING LOVE
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
Got any spare nails for the coffin lid.
Trapped inside as love dies.
Fades away as slit wrists drip.
From here into eternity.
Or maybe to obscurity.

Claret puddle on the floor, just behind the bedroom door.
Will not accept the blame.
For him, he fired the flame.
Broken hearts wrists that broke
Heart running dry.
Wonder why.

Want him not in old oak box.
Nor as a gift to medicine.
The world is hurting.
Wonder why!

Let those Doves Fly!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
Bring forth the pure white doves of peace.
Need not pack those bags and fly.
Bring peace down upon the world.
Alabaster pure.

No shadows cast.
Ride the tide still living free.
Tragedy trickles, in sweetened tears.
Lock not the world away.

Lock away the spitfires.
Put away those tanks.
Disband the band of brothers.
Daggers snapped.
Knuckles rapped.

This world of war filled terror.
Land of milk and honey.
Pleasure so distraught.
As in grip of terror.
Our lovely world is caught!

Blah Blah Blah!

In a blaze of anger I exploded.
His personal torment,
He created for himself.

I told the world a pack of truth.
About the sheep in lupine garb.
Dressed not in a sauce of mint.

Inedible,
Toxic to the end.

Darling, your good friends left.
Go curl up and die.

My friendship expelled at last.
My heart is fixed.

Go have a blast,
Poetic fantasist.

Straight from the heart of ex romantic.
For I am not to be destroyed.

Annoyed once by his drunken rants.
His narcissism.

The fairy tale he decried.
The one so truly self absorbed.

Stuck in syndrome,
Peter Pan.

Expelled his faeces.
Only way that I know how.

Wrote my heart out.
Demon exorcised.

Care not,
should I be cursed.

Now i'm gone.
Guess what,
I'm fine!

Case study of a mental man.
Or crazy lady on a play day.
Remarked on mental cases.
Exhibiting strange behaviour.
Writing so was stated.
A subtle gentleman perhaps.
Lady chilling in the evenings.
Picks up pen and writes.

Why I asked,
Oh why,
Oh why is writing thought strange.
We writers we,
we are not deranged.
Write because we wish to .
Scrawl to save our souls.
Scribbled wishes in verses.
Cathartic.
Words drawn because we want to.
Words drawn because we can.
Removes the daily curses.

A Poem for Andy!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
For Andy,Your poem, As Requested!

Early evening.
Noticed bus fifteen hundred and sixty four.
Just escaped the traffic jam.
A sticky situation.

Bus full of loons.
Tomorrow's future.
Acting drunk and immature.

Drove up to the factory gate.
Decided they wanted not to wait.
The gate was locked.

Gang of drunken loony tunes were going on the rob.
The scaled the gate.
Ran amok.

Wanted to see what was left.
The factory shut.
A scavenging they went.

Found nothing but a few old tyres.
A few circuit boards and a couple of wires.
Heavy boots the copper came.
To investigate their crazy game.

The students heard him coming in.
Ran away made such a din.
Jumped back over locked gate.
To await.
Return trip.
Empty handed on the fifteen sixty four!

Utopia!

A mirage in the desert heat.
My eyes did lift.
My heart did meet.
My mind did drift to foreign climes.
The desert heat.
It charred my feet.

Palm trees graced a distant scene.
Arab man on fiery steed.
As if stepped out of a dream.
Hell in hell.
Methinks this maybe heaven sent.
Perhaps, I think that this must be meant.

And horror of horror.
The heat it burned.
Menopausal night sweats.
They turned.
Into sweating night dreams.
The early light, this early light.
Locked my sweet dream out of sight!

The Nightmare!
Olivia Kent Nov 2013
The Nightmare.

On the slab in total innocence.
From on high it fell.
Rescued by care.

Tenderly in safety.
Protected and cosseted.
Dear sweet thing I think.

From on high she blared.
Mother screeched how much she cared.
As if the Red Baron attacked.
Wanted to ****** my eyes.

Flying in bombs.
Causing such fear.
Ran indoors.
Safe haven near!

Impact must have hit my head.
For in the night.
I got a poison visit.
Dispatched from my mind's eye.

Woke up in a dozy state.
Get inside super quick.
Fear set in.
Made me almost sick.

That bird.
That scary bird entered my head.
In my dreams in wants me dead.
Tried to get back in my home.
How the could I break free.
Don't let her ire get me.

Should have pushed the handle down.
Shoved the door to set me free.
The racket I made released my fear.
Safe and sound was really here.
Woke up in blind panic.
Fear was manic.

Woke up in my room.
Wrapped in sweat.
Really no more need to fret.Left that dream deep in the gloom.
Realised I hadn't left my room!

This is a true story stemming from childhood.
I lived in Devon and a baby seagull had fallen out of it's nest.
My school friend and I decided to rescue it.
It's mother soon realised.
When ever she saw us she attacked us.
This obviously disturbed me so much that I had a dream.
I was desperate to escape from.
I woke up to find I had disturbed the entire family trying to escape from my bedroom.
Instead of pushing the door and putting the handle down I was pulling the door towards me and screaming.
A mega noise...LOL

My pen,
She sleeps tonight.
Wrapped in softest safety blanket.
Cannot risk breaking my one last baby.
My one sweet place of sanctuary.

For she is angry.
Very angry.
Incensed..No scent.
Except maybe burning flesh singed and charred.
No sense nor sensibility.

My pen she burns ire.
Irate on mission.
Declaration of dignity.
She stalks not.
Her caring nature of kindness is all there was.
Genuine never lost.

She walks away with head held high.
He cannot look her in the eye.
States readily he wants to die.
Regularly a clockwork orange.
Upon a crazy trip.

Find your own sanctuary.
Make it far away from me.
He got a cob on.
Arrogant swan hisses.
The lady her pen will not decease.
She will write on.

Trapped inside as liquid pain.
Drenched with passion’s stench.
Almost as mentor
He was there.
Once or twice.
Two powerful pens.
We worked as one.
He sort of taught me how to write.

Well a little bit at least.
Always believed I did it well.
Helped me make and mend my range.
For he writes mainly darkness.

With a little help from you my friend.
Found my own darkness in the end.
I love the feel of darkness he conjured.

Will there to be light in my dark again?

And did those sorry feet bleed as you left.
Walking slowly.
Charismatic in their wake.
As oblivion so obvious calls.
Cherished dream of kindness died.
Not sorry nor sad.

A special kind.
Door closed locked tight.
Charitable ways disembowelled.
As vultures chew flesh from beautiful bones.
Discarded in sorrow's wake.
Pray not become forsaken.
For she shall not.

She will not wallow in lost dreams.
Woman will create anew.
Adam's apple choked him.
Drowned in saliva.
One long acidic flow.
Tongue twisted.
Virtually removed.

She wants no whisky nor no wine.
To live no more a silly lie.
Believing in nothing more or less.
Than wait and see.

When at seventy I reflect upon the love we felt.
The tragic wasted hands were dealt.
Without regret.
Be it alone or as one of two.

A masquerade of misery screams round once silent streets.
Lonesome spirits impaled by pain.
Noisy spirits cruise again.

For it is all hallows eve.
Where holiness hides under cover of dark.
Evil shadows leave their mark.
Imprinted on the sidewalk.
Paper chase of discarded dreams.
Strewn into the gutter.

Trick or treat they say on this most unholy day.
For this night will soon be done.

Bladdered!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Bladdered!

Full to bursting point.
Quick release before explosion.
Filled up nearly brimming over.
Morning light smacks the eyes.
Dash to empty.
So despise.

Once upon a time.
Not so long ago.
Barely had to hit the loo.
Morning noon or night.
Now with age increasing.
Wake at night so enraged.
To find the door locked.
Shouts engaged.

Titless!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Titless!

Ignorant bliss.
Walk through a crowded dream.
Crudeness covered discreetly.
In jovial joshing.
Lewdly.
With fanciful words.
Insufficient in declaration.
Withdraw a smile.
Contact lost.
Little boy mislaid.
Missing his maiden.
Perchance.
Take a glimpse.
A second chance in silence.

Aftermath!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Aftermath!

Wind blew away.
Tumbled trees.
Across the road were slain.
Trees deceased.
One or few.
Caught by the branches.
Felled.
Chaos in diversion's drench.
Liken to flowers on tender stems.

Trains deceased for hour of rush.
As leaves and rainfall both did gush.
Muddles of puddles.
Leonine wind.
Did the holy roar.
Sent from heaven or forced from hell.

Today the weather she presents no passion.
Slight chill in her heart.
Sun in her eye.
Storm forced out.
Fear did die.
Silent clouds drift through blue skies.

Embracing His Solace!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Embracing His Solace!

In solace mountains scaled.
Solidarity stands strong.
Between two upstanding.
Love matters minimally.
Grace relaxed in cultured elegance.
Company not desired much.

Cries alone.
Dies alone.
Does he moan.
No deals granted.
Pours another escapist drink.
Needed to **** or release the lurking tears.
Forced to descend thy tender cheeks.
Solace found also in my place.

Want no-one to invade my space.
Love freedom to be mine.
Detest freedom myself at times.
Then I to cry.
Flood rivers rarely.
Too selfish to co-exist.
Although your heart and soul I've missed.
No deals wanted.
Love never denied!

Talk to Me!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Talk to Me!

Utters not a word.
Did maybe a bird steal his tongue.
Maybe an error.
Could have thought it were a worm.

Silence could be golden.
Shown in a wish.
In a magic moment she's waiting for your kiss.
Is this omen maybe pearl.
Bad luck could be presumed
If this omen were a ruby.
Fire filled blazing red.
Then love would be apparent.
Instead of seeming dead.
Should love be shown in emerald green.
Maybe things would be as they seem.
Bright and natural.
Fools endeavour.
Diamond love would last forever.
Could and should withstand this weather.
Be upstanding till the end of time.

This tempest vengeful snatches all things in it's path.
Perhaps I hear not your gentle words.
Maybe drowned in natures blast.

And The Wind Came!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
And So The Wind Came!

Clouds amassed in morning sky.
Grey and dancing.
Breeze fresh.
Blowing as the winds of change
Legions, brimming full with rain.
Appearing as sentinels.
Protecting the concealed sun.

Matinee brings with it the weather.
Acting out her violent scenes.
And so the wind came.
Lashing of legs tied in her bite.
A thrashing inferno that's burning with pain.
So stealthily the rain it came.

Let not Saint Antonio visit.
The saint of fellows lost.
May the blast not purge us in it's wild whip.
Let the wind not bring amass of rain.
Dispatch not floods our way.
Let the hurricane play and bay.
Her heart's content.
As wild hungry hound.

Barometer pointer swivels.
Storm it shrieks.
Melee over land.
Let Heaven guard the seas.
May the sea control her swell.
Keep all safe and well!

Boo!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Boo!

One and one make two.
Coterie of magic made.
One on one create.

The rudiment of life.
Shown in embryonic form.
Implant.
Once protected against unwanted risk.
Removed.
Another wanted implant
Now implanted in the wall of life.

Once was mere ball of jell.
Definite form created.
Gesticulation unborn wave.
Still in uterine home.
Impregnable in warm and cosy world.
Glancing via ultrasonic image waving back.

Forty weeks or thereabouts.
Grand entrance made.
Visage of cutie.
Baby beauty.
Born at last.
Welcome to the world of life!

My World !
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
My World!

Welcome to my world.
My heart.
My brain.
'Tis a house of fun.
Where sunshine reigns.
Wind bubbles.
Grown children play.

So what do I do with my gift of life.
Have one lovely lover.
My heart him adores.
He too writes poems.
Scores and scores
Won't be his wife.
Never at least till the twelfth of never.
My precious time.
Hours upon hours spent at work.
Gee ****, mind numbing.
Probably makes me a ****.

When In my land of sanctuary.
My pen comes out to play.
Have an imagination.
Somewhat sublime.
Sublimate perhaps.
Very surreal.
Subsumed as poet.

Sometimes drift down Dante's way.
Poeish at times.
'Fraid God doesn't feature in my life.
Am spiritual, bit of a hippie chick.
The queen of love's emotions.
Enters my world as dozy notions.
Nothing else would I choose.
I paint pictures in oils and words.
The words are a little better.

Insular is my real world.
At work I'm so exuberant.
Indoors tranquil.
Give me pen.
Feed an me idea.
I will present.

As varied as the weather.
I am indeed.
Like my writings.
Feel free to read.
Now I open my world to you.
Come and seek my strange point of view.

Storm!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Crystal lake sparkling.
First explosive as lightning strikes.
Now moving softly obeying moonlight’s touch.
Warm breeze.
Chased the heavy storm.
After clouds played with Thor.
Drenched.
Bones almost soaked.
Standing in the free rain.
Hair leaden with liquid moonshine…
Coat clings as limpet sponge.
Stuck in situ!

Friday morning.
Sun shining brightly.
Train jolted to a sudden halt.
Guard announced over tannoy.
Somewhat garbled.
Sorry ladies and gents.
'We have an issue'.
Can go no further.
Moaning morning service users.
Became somewhat foul mouthed abusers.

Hey guard, what's happening'.
Can't open the doors.
Stuck in this spot.
'Okay ladies and gents I'll level'.
There's a swan on the track.
Our path is blocked.
With a concerned voice he announced.
My fat controllers agreed.
These doors can be undone.
Morning commuters all begone.

Stepped from the train.
Peeped to right.
In front of my eyes a magical site.
Cygnet sat.
Greyish brown on the rails.
Waterloo train.
Held to ransom.
A foot away from death he sat.
Not flustered.
Guarded by the queen.

Went to work.
Cared all day
About how swan got taken away that day.
On way home
Asked the staff.
Relieved at last.
Taken away safe and sound.
Now I smile!

Grotesque Night!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Slept all night.
Brain wide awake.
Body woke.
Shaking.
Wrapped in sweat so cold.
Dreamed
As if non stop during darkened hours.
Meeting in the graveyard.
Cemetery of shame.
Necropolis of long dead regret.
Pursued by gang without escape.
Feral kids exuded terror.
Petrified as long dead tree.
Heart created in stone.
Eons of ancient history.
Step taken furtively.
Begging to be set free.
Let go.
Space invaded by fear dressed in denim.
Misgivings unforgiving.
Scared near to dying.
Heart beating manically.
Scarred by memories of neglect.
Painted hatred on a memory stick of sorrow.
Maybe brighter in the morrow!
Cruelty in dreams.
Unbearable.

Magpie Dancers!
Olivia Kent Oct 2013
Magpie Dancers

Noisy screaming folklore.
Swirled over rail road track.
Firstly one for sorrow.
Soon joined by a mate.
A rash a dash of flapping wings.
Then there were three.
Is it to be a girl perhaps.
My daughters little chick.

A moment later.
Raucous noisy bird number four descended.
Train flashed past.
A flick of silver sparks from emitted from the line.
Hey presto.
Magical mystery bird number five.
Appeared as the train went by.

His entrance not spotted.
Five lucky birds flew over the track.
Magpie number six.
He was the unlucky chap.
Landed on the track.
Train won't stop for magpie.
His number henceforth up!

Love Letter!

Love Letter!

If I could write all my love in a letter I would.
If it had an effect on the outcome then maybe I should.
To speak of how I want.
What I need.
To let you be aware not wary.
Baby.
I am so not scary.
You know I'm not.
When I touch you in a tender spot.
Darling please forget me not.

My love I wrote in that letter.
L is for light out of dark nights.
O is for opening of once blinkered eyes.
V is for a vacancy left in my heart and yours too I believe.
E is for emptiness...Cannot be perceived.

Of emotion I am so nearly devoid.
All of my tenderness nearly destroyed.
That letter shall pass in front of your dark eyes.
Ask of me no questions.
Show me no lies.
When in the morrow.
It should land on your mat.
Maybe replace your happy hat!
