How deep is the river?
The river that flows,
Slowly over the stepping stones.
Builds up with emotion,
See how it goes.
Always in haste ,
How the river flows.
Inwardly,
Drawing the vortex.
Frothy and foamy.

Wildly,
Thrashing it goes.
In the throes of motion
Down into the cauldron, in front of the nose of the witness.
Who inhales the scent of the water?
Not given,
Only be lent.
Tumbling of water.
Lucid and free.
The cauldron of the devil
The strollers may see.

Diamonds on the pavement,

Emeralds on the grass.

Trodden under heavy feet,

Look a lot like glass.

Symbols of engagement,

Trampled under foot.

Won't need to call the chimney sweep,

Just gave him the boot.

Wearing a tatty top hat,

Whenever in attendance.

But when he's wears his sweeps trews,

his *** looks rather cute.

The dark side of romance!

The blackberries be coming.
Thorny brambles being fruity.
In shades and tones of ruby red, gooseberry green and mauve,
shiny in late summer sun.
In spite of a little the summer sun, a sure fire sign that summer's done.
An odd day dons a beach umbrella, a sun hat and a deck chair.
The coming in of autumn slowly,
Provocative of cardigans and rain hats.
Here we go,
All fall down.
Anyone fancy a crumble or pie.
Spite the end of summer days.
Smack autumn in the eye.
There be bonus upon the yield be given from the hedgehog bush.

It's a long way down from heaven
One long way to fall.
No magic to heal me
Now you're not here to feel me.
And I fell..

I'm in the concrete jungle
With dust on my shoes.
I'm stranded.
Natures calling to my left ear.
War into my right.

I'll do anything for you.
But I'm not prepared to fight.
Hell is where I find myself.
Stranded on a stony beach.

I pick them out singly.
Skim them on the tide.
Stuck here.
Living in purgatory.
I can't decide.

I'm not leaving the shore,
I can't walk away.
See you next time.
A new place maybe.
In a trendy bar.
Away from the sea.
I sip my white wine.
Then sip my red.
Baby I love you.
Get out of my head.

Three tears and a locket.
A ball in your hand.
Fluff and flowers.
Golden chains.
Love bought swiftly without pains.
Fantastic.

America oh land of the free.
What you gonna do for me.
Or your people.

Trump chucking vile insults.
And the snakes in my hair are fighting each other.
Bill and Ben just skittles in flipping power struggles.
Poor Mohammed he's viewed differently,
But in life he's just the same.

Hillary is wondering who's gonna be her husband's latest conquest.
Guess it doesn't matter much.
Just forgive and forget.
Trumps' a misogynist, a giant lump of liar.
If he gets  elected  the world  be on fire.

Oh America,
Land of the brave,
Land of the free.
What about England?
Talk bout sweet England.
You'd be having a laugh.
England merry?
Messy England.

Perhaps a giraffe could do a better job.
Head in the noisy clouds.
Cameron's list  of toffee beaks.
The larks of summer crash to earth.
Summers' gone.
Tory rebirth.
Hoping not.

England's renewal.
Vapour trail,
Teresa's rule.
Tory woman.
Nobody's fool.
Shame eh.

Oh England
Merry England.
Descending,
Going down the pan.
It's chaos.

While Putin is disputing the way the world will go.
Boom boom.
Bang bang,
Seems to believe he's Superman.
Running the race at his pace.
A trending mosquito.
Irritant
Dangerous.
Viral.

Oh hell.
Planet's just a bowling ball.
Well  well.
Blackest magic in the air,
Who cares?
Be scared.
Very afraid.

It's grey this August,
Truly madly, deeply,
A darker shade of grey.

Called back to love.
Disown me if you need too.
Leave me not abandoned.
For you of beautiful moments.
I cannot set you free.
I can bleed for you.
Read to you.
Ride on clouds full up with rain,
Fall down once again,
I always do.
If ever I could stake my heart,
I'd switch it for your pain.
