Germination.
Flower pots.
Long past April.
Spits and spots.
Foliage in verdant green
Centre fold in magazine.
Pruning roses.
Year on year bright red ones.
For she.
That he held dear.
Thorns bit back.
Sheer heart attack.
Arrested development.
Cut back in prime.

Off she went to see the sea.
Bike revved up.
She was free.
Revved the engine hard and fast.
Wind blew through her hair.
Motor biking without a care.
Rode along the promenade.
Stopped and purchased lemonade.
With a little bitter in.
Power excited her.
Those revs beneath her ****.

Spluttered and struggled, to come alive.
Forgot to plug the charger in.
Born to ride, not to win.
Her carriage awaited.
Son arrived to collect her.
In his shiny motor car.
One invalid carriage left stranded.
Battery flat.
Parked in the seaside parking bay.
Poor old lady.
Sad end to her exciting day.
Oh to be young, don't cha think.
Day out left her in the pink.
Blushing a little at the end of her trip.

Heard the bells toll
Ring goodbye to summer that never ever came.
Funktown.
All the guys get down, they're *****
The gals are always flirty.
Fun in summer sun.
Smiles and grins.
Going down.

Crying suicide.
Loved you once, eyes open wide.
Stitched her up on grazed knees.
Knees that bent.
Knew what you meant.
Knew whatcha wanted.
You knocked her down.
Lost her crown.
Luscious in lace and coney fur.

Paper knickers.
Party time.
Drugs and drink.
Whaddya think.
It maybe shady.
But what the hell.

Hell, you got a soggy bottom from lying on wet grass.
Like the snake you are.
A snake on strike.
Love is venomous.
Always enormous.
Totally toxic.
Love rocks it.
Dying quietly.
Muscles that spasm.
Took her breath away.
Clean away.

Seagulls caught upon the wing.
Flash catches them.
Electric storm blazes on.
Tossed like chips in hot oil.
Carried on the dashing rain.

Silly poem, over tired x
Olivia Kent May 2016
Sitting,
Thinking,
Scratching my head.
Acquiring splinters from the ageing oak.
Tall tree of knowledge.
Avoiding the gulls that invade my scope of vision.
My pen has leaked all over my hands.
My fingers tingle.
Electricity surge.
Foul words are scribbled.
Demons be purged.

Cold creature.
Dislocated jaws.
Rippling musculature.
Urging in.
BMI increased.
Mega girth.
Crusher fed.
First time ever.
Watched the serpent feed.
Fascinating.
Sleeping now.

I have 3 snakes and 4 lizards in my house. I have never watched the snakes feed before..
Amazing experience.

Keep your crash hat on nice and snug.
Wrap yourself in a great big rug.
Hide indoors.
Avoid walking under ladders.
Chuck salt over your shoulder.
Say good morning to magpies that fly.
Probably unlikely to die today,
Just, because it's the thirteenth day of May.
And it's Friday.
Good luck and much love sent your way.
