Seagulls caught upon the wing.
Flash catches them.
Electric storm blazes on.
Tossed like chips in hot oil.
Carried on the dashing rain.

Silly poem, over tired x
Olivia Kent May 2016
Sitting,
Thinking,
Scratching my head.
Acquiring splinters from the ageing oak.
Tall tree of knowledge.
Avoiding the gulls that invade my scope of vision.
My pen has leaked all over my hands.
My fingers tingle.
Electricity surge.
Foul words are scribbled.
Demons be purged.

Cold creature.
Dislocated jaws.
Rippling musculature.
Urging in.
BMI increased.
Mega girth.
Crusher fed.
First time ever.
Watched the serpent feed.
Fascinating.
Sleeping now.

I have 3 snakes and 4 lizards in my house. I have never watched the snakes feed before..
Amazing experience.

Keep your crash hat on nice and snug.
Wrap yourself in a great big rug.
Hide indoors.
Avoid walking under ladders.
Chuck salt over your shoulder.
Say good morning to magpies that fly.
Probably unlikely to die today,
Just, because it's the thirteenth day of May.
And it's Friday.
Good luck and much love sent your way.

Beneath the most majestic yew.
She wrapped her arms tight around you.
You hugged each other full of passion.

She held  you tight, your lips turned blue.
It was not intentional.
With the hug of a constrictor,
She knew not of her own strength.

You never saw me watching.
Knew not,that I was there.
He thought it true love, but she ne'er really cared.
As a lonely witness I stood silent.
As she slowly walked away.
Cell phone rattled in my pocket.
I'm sorry.

I picked up an empty seashell.
Thought I'd find it silent.
I held close up to my ear.
It really was a little queer.
For, from the shell came a lovely voice.
Deep but understanding.
It said I had a choice.

I stopped, then I thought.
My heart was trapped inside I was well and truly caught.
A shell that spoke!
Well I never.
I looked closely into the hollow and there I saw two eyes.
Must have been really tiny.

I placed the shell back on the sand.
Walked away with  head in hands.
Baffled if not a little bemused.
As I walked away I heard a crunch.

Felt a hand upon my shoulder.
I jumped somewhat startled.
Jumped near out of my skin.
Turned on my heels.
To see who was there.
Tall dark and handsome.
Before me he stood.
A broken shell revealed something so good.
How he got in there,
I'll never know.
I'll never know or if indeed that's where he's from.
Perhaps he was just the soul of the sea.
He was stood there, next to me.

I saw her standing there.
Striking.
Wore the look of a porcelain doll.
Victoriana some would say.
Ivory face,
with cheeks of perfect pink.
Legs like a flaming Flamingo.
Headset in situ, discreet ears.
Hair long and thick, ebony.
Strangest footwear.
Odd adornment.
Ribbons entwined throughout her mind.
Oriental student.
Wonder what she's studying?
