Ever heard of such quotes, “too busy for life”;
So far, I know that a busy life only hide the people we miss;
While distant gaps can only push the people we miss further;
Because all it takes is one drop of love to bridge the gap.

Time is the only one resource we equally possess;
But time becomes limited to talk with one another;
Unfortunately, we will never have enough time in any life;
Because all it takes is one drop of love to find time for loved ones.

The eyes will never be able to see our thoughts;
Our unspoken prayers are only but thoughts in disguise;
If you need them, tell them to be closer to you than ever before;
Because all it takes is one drop of love to tell someone that you love them.

Try making it work, try coming closer;
Because ugly things of yesterday can be very beautiful today;
Caterpillar of yesterday is a beautiful butterfly of today;
Because all it takes is one drop of love to try making it work.

I'M BROKEN TO BE MORE

It’s no doubt that to feel pain is mandatory;
But to feel the suffering is not only an option but also a choice;
In heartbreak, suffering and pain, remember that being broken is humility;
So, I choose to be broken in humility.

It takes a broken soil to give a crop a life;
Don’t worry nor remain in despair while going through breakings;
Instead of crying for a lighter load, just ask for a stronger back to carry the load;
So, I choose to be broken in humility.

It takes humility to accept that your heart has been broken;
It takes ignorance to allow any man or woman to break your precious heart;
Just as it takes broken cloud to give rain and bring a new hope to huge masses;
So, I choose to be broken in humility.

In deed, broken grains give bread;
Broken bread give strength;
Likewise, God uses broken people to make great things;
So, I choose to be broken in humility.

A loving Christmas

Another Christmas has come and gone and I didn't get chance to celebrate;
People insisted on giving me gifts, but I never enjoyed the gifts a moment;
I had too much to drink; I slept on 24th and woke up on 27th, and still dizzy;
What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more of celebrations;
I never celebrated a loving Christmas;

A Christmas doesn't come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more;
It's more than drinking too much alcohol and driving -then finding yourself in deathbed;
It may mean something like, eating with those who lacks meals for even a single day;
It's a choice to celebrate a loving Christmas with the less fortunate;

Christmas makes our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred;
and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again;
It's at Christmas-time that we should think about life in it's totality;
because all of become children again in a loving Christmas;

Mistakes You Don’t Want To Make In Your 20s

Whether it’s burning bridges with people you loved;
We must always remember that our decisions will affect our futures;
Nothing is more true than the fact that whatever goes around comes around;
You are not immune to the cosmic forces of the crowd mind-decisions that you make;
Don’t be surprised when reality catches back up with you and brings you to your knees;
Be a good person, make right and independent decisions in your 20s,You’ll get further in life.

We need to control the invincibility we all feel;
It comes to both men and women and it destroys both;
We feel the need to be the knight in shining armor for our lovers;
As chivalrous as this may seem, I hate to break it to you in shouts;
By setting yourself up for a losing battle, you’ve only ensured your misery;
For the next few months in your 20s, find what rightfully belongs to you and no one else.

If our check is for $9, then we’re most likely spending $30;
Between credit cards, school loans and every other avenue;
No doubt, our need for immediate gratification is worse than ever;
The truth is it’s about making more money, not saving it in any bank;
At the same time, if you have no means for expanding your revenue channels;
Then you must be able to save a few dollars here and there while still in your 20s.

Trying to act like the man rather than learning how to become one;
If more time is spent pretending to be the person you want to be instead;
Then you’ll sink in quick sand without even knowing it or even being told;
A real man is willing to make sacrifices. If you aren’t down to put in the work;
Then please don’t act like you are. You can enjoy the success when you actually attain it.;
Be a man in your 20s, that is, being yourself, being a leader and being no one else on earth.

Be yourself

One of the most difficult things to achieve is to become what the world wants;
It's a great accomplishment to be who you are in a world that is making you something else;
Many people are not who they really are because they want to conform to the beauty of the world;
You now have a chance to say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind either.

Trying to be someone else is like making a new creation out of nothing, it will be nothing;
It's time to know that everyone else has already been taken, it's time you be yourself in everything;
Don't mind imperfection because it's beauty, madness is trying to be perfect, it's absolutely boring;
You now have a chance to follow your inner moonlight; don't hide the madness of imperfection.

Keenly look at those who are living the lives of their parents, they are older than their parents;
You will end up with a boring life because you wanted to be someone else, you don't deserve that;
Being who you are will invite many people to your life, being someone else will do the contrary;
Of course, people will love you for what you can do for them, and some won't like you at all, so be yourself.

If people love you, they will give you a chance to be yourself;
You will find friendship in people who give you total freedom to be yourself-and moreso to feel;
Whatever you happen to be feeling at any moment is fine with them. That's what real love is;
If I were you, I'd have started being myself even before finishing to read this poem. Be yourself.

Do It Now

The real power of desire is doing the right thing at the right time;
It's about making a decision knowing that nobody's going to notice your good works;
There's so much negative imagery of black fatherhood in continuously postponing to do right;
You should ask yourself, “how come postponing things hasn't paid but instead it's robbed me;
How come that's not as newsworthy? Do it now.

The real power of character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking;
There are too many people who think that good things are best done under people's watch;
Make an initiative to change the way you handle matters of procrastination in your everyday life;
Then you will know that Initiative is doing the right thing without being told, and doing the best;
It's a choice, not a chance; it's an initiative not only a desire; Do it now.

It's not doubt that the biggest exam that we fail each day is discouragement test;
Does it mean that life it not always fair for people who fail the test of discouragement;
I believe in the contrary; I believe that if you keep doing things in time, you always be right;
Next to doing the right thing at the right time, is to let yourself know you are doing the right thing;
So, ethics are not necessarily to do with being law-abiding but being interested in the moral path to do it now.

In the silence of my heart, my soul calls on you in shouts;
Under your care, the true meaning of love is found in me;
When am weak, your love is what uplifts me;
Indeed, I am in love with you;

The world teaches no reason to love forever in abounding life;
Your Faithfulness to me, teaches love in all conditions;
It’s a command; it’s a rule; it’s in me – in you and us of all;
No wonder, I am in love with you;

Until your love came to our rescue, we’re materials for hell;
Until you made the ultimate sacrifice for us, we didn’t know love;
Until you reconciled us to the father, we’re orphans in groans;
You’ve taught me love, and I am in love with you;

Now, your love has lifted me above all storms of the earth;
Am still because I know that you are God of all the earth;
Neither depth, nor other creature shall separate us from God’s love;
I’m more than conqueror because I am in love with you;

You have a reason to be strong

You have a reason to be strong because your strength is not yours but God’s;
We are strong because we are not shallow in what we want to achieve;
Because we not only believe in luck and all the good thing in life;
But because we believe in cause and effect which are but seasonal;
Now, you have a reason to be strong.

If your mind tells you that you are scrawny, refuse and say, “I have a reason to be strong.”
Work towards a mind that is at peace with itself and at peace with everyone else;
Work towards a mind that is not focused on harming others in any little thing;
Then your mind will be stronger than any physical force in the universe;
Now, you have a reason to be strong in peace with others.

You have a reason to be strong because struggles nourish courage in any circumstance;
You can never be strong is you only have wonderful thing in everyday’s life;
It is not about winning any battle of life experiences or settling for less;
It is about going through hardships and decides not to surrender;
Now, you have a reason to be strong when you don’t give up.

I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress of their lives;
People who can purpose to labour and grow brave by reflection of what they want;
They know that Strength of character means the ability to overcome;
Who have ability to hide hurt feelings, and to forgive quickly in faith;
They always tell one another that, “You have a reason to be strong.”

Take time to smile

Take time to smile

Take time to smile even when things are not the way you expected;
because taking time to smile will make you use time wisely;
smile will separate you from thinking that you're worse;
now, take time to smile.

Take time to smile when you are still alive and kicking;
because, when you were born everyone else was smiling as you're crying;
and when you die, everyone else will be crying and you could be the only smiling;
now, take time to smile.

Take time to smile when people treat you as an option;
because your smile will be written in their hearts when you are gone;
the smile will challenge and remind them that you treated them as a choice;
now, take time to smile.

Take time to smile when in pain because a smile will remind you of the previous happy times;
the smile will convince you that you still have a chance to be happy;
Smile it out when you are sorry for what you have done;
Now take time to smile because you are convinced that smile is from your soul.
