I guess in their mindless wisdom
They chose to overlook...
Or maybe they just thought it winsome
Not to read The Book.
There it sais there's much more brilliance
In simplicity.
It makes our life more resilient
If we be complete.
Instant pop ups just like magic
Jump up by themselves.
Cell phones, laptops, hand held gadgets
Clutter up the shelves.
Mindless wisdom seperating
Folks from one another.
Their inventions devastating
Our sisters and brothers.
Distracted from the necessary
Things that we should do.
It's becoming really scary,
But happening for true.
Yes, I call it mindless wisdom,
And they call it progress.
Every crazy has a weapon,
And our food is processed.
The medicine to heal our ills
Only make things worse.
The panacea in the pill
Is actually a curse.

Ever seen the void expanse?
Ever played a game of chance?
Never look with a blank stare,
Or copy cat a loveless pair.
Empty is a bank's vault.
Similar to mean insults.
Never say a quick word.
You'll get an answer that's unheard.
And do not have a jealous eye,
Or admire a starless sky.
It's just like a hateful heart,
Or like making a false start.
Do not live a life unplanned,
Or possess a greedy hand.
All these things are full of emptiness.
Try to keep them on your memory list.

The wind - it whistles where it wants,
And no one gets to see it.
It tears and teases, throws and taunts
Like you would not believe it.

Space is something that's unseen,
Transparent to the stare.
Invisible to human beings,
Though it is everywhere.

Microbes make a mega march
Right before our eyes,
But we can't see their end or start
Because of their size.

Spirits sprinkle special stuff
So we can see the way,
And though around us all so much,
We never see a face.

The list is long; a lot to learn,
But way too little time.
And for all the things you yearn,
You can't touch them in your mind.

If i gave you my heart we would split.
you might do some sh*t
And spit on it.
We would quit.
If i gave you my heart just a little bit.

If i gave you my heart this would die.
I'd probably tell you lies,
Make you cry
And not know why.
If i gave you my heart we would say goodbye.

If i gave you my heart you'd be gone.
You'd probably find reasons to carry on,
Or be reborn,
And i would mourn.
if i gave you my heart our lives would be torn.

If i gave you my heart we'd pretend.
Then you and I would quickly end,
Though now we blend,
We'll never mend.
If i gave you my heart we would not stay friends.

There are many social networks
all around today.
Sometimes it is serious head work
Not to have to pay.
Facebook, Tagged and Cupid.com
Try to make a match
They must think we're stupid adnorms;
The people they dispatch.
Broken teeth and dreams and mindsets,
They all have their run.
I clicked on one who handled blind pets'
Said, she did it for fun!
They show up in secret forums
So you don't know they're here,
Some run counter to the norms
We trust will be there.
Bi's- and Trans- and other hyphens
Litter their profiles.
Like sifting sand you have to siphon
Way behind their smiles.
I'm so sick of private forums
On the Internet.
Despite all of their decorums,
It hasn't worked out yet.

I don't need no lemon drops
To take away the cough.
Don't need to be round beds and cots,
Or pills for sleep being lost.
Don't need antibiotics
To relieve an infection.
Though this seems idiotic,
Don't need vaccine protection.
What I really need is love,
They say that it's a cure-all
So I pray to God above
That one day I will fall.
