Make the most of the time you've got girl,
for before you know it
Life will have passed you by.
There you will stand,
Having lost even the chance to wave goodbye
To those days you knew as your prime.

Days sweep endlessly by
And the wind sweeps the trees.
The rain drips on down
Until the sky lets up,
Until the clouds bow out
Leaving a bright night sky.

So take your chance, take it now.
Make your stand, make it proud.
Love life, live strong, never hesitate,
The best and worst will be gone
By the time you move again.

Take your chances when they come
And bow out with your sun,
Leaving with a setting that puts all in awe.
Make the most of life girl
Before you've left it wasted and gone.
What is the hardest part
                    Of being alone?
It's the quietness,
A stillness making
What ought have been a home-
a house.
It's filled with beds,
But those lover's nests
Are             Empty.
And the thought is
As occupying as a dream.
A dream you cannot feel
Because the loneliness is keeping you awake

With no one to hold down your fears
         And keep you safe.
So:
I found the space where
- in "where" -
The letters meet each other
And giggle awkwardly because they don't get each others jokes.
You see:
The reason we don't understand our dreams
Is that language is a

Stunning blonde
With red pouty lips
And a seductive smile
That everyone knows is easy
And no one honestly cares how smart she is.

But if I stood up at the podium
(brushing away the sawdust and dandruff from
the last guy who talked about
tax cuts
or some other *******)
And looked deep into your eyes
So closely that our irises mixed
And I said to you
"   "

(well,)
You and I,
We'd be the sea and sky.

The words

are slow

to come.

One at a time
trembles upon lips
before spilling forth.

Slowly
picking up speed
they
flow
at first
like a lazy undulating
stream through
a crowded wood.

And then
the pressure
builds towards
release
like a
raging rapids
words
leap over
submerged
emotion,
rushing forth
to be expressed,
to share,
to enlighten,
to dance,
to rage,
to comfort,
to share...

Always to
share.

That internal
need
to share
one's self
through the
use of
words
whether
spoken
or written.
I want to sleep with the living,
To tell them it's alright.
It's scary – death,
But I make for good company.

When I sleep, you are safe.
So you should hold me close.
Rest easy as you pray
That morning stays away
|

This time I shouldn't wake
And the night will be so long
Vampires in every sense
Begging just to be|

Alive
Living
In fear
           Is all that's left
             DEAR
A want to die, or a want to struggle?
